Deutsch shines a light for the leisure marine industry
21 November 2007 Deutsch UK manufactures a range of connectors specifically designed to withstand the rigours of marine environments, including salt water, extremes of temperature, dust, moisture and chemicals. Most yachts use halogen lights for underwater lighting, which last for up to 1,000 hours. Some use Xenon lights, which can go on for up to 3,000 hours. However, OceanLED's new system uses LED lights, which run on very low voltage, allowing up to 60,000 hours of lighting.
