LIET at your Fingertips
OceanLED, world leader in LED marine lighting has teamed up with Crestron, one of the marine industry’s leading AV and lighting control system manufacturers, to co-exhibit at METS in Amsterdam next week.
OceanLED is showcasing LIET, the world’s first true LED lighting solution to the marine industry. With perfect 0-10v dimming, high frequency driver technology and protective software all built into the 9mm thin LIET engine combined with the smooth integration of the Crestron control, both systems will be shown in their best light!
Following an intensely successful public launch at the recently concluded Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), where the LIET products were controlled using Crestron’s DIN Rail lighting range and the new cutting-edge wireless TPS-6X touch screen system, OceanLED could not be more excited about the upcoming METS event.
“Exhibiting with Crestron was a master stroke. Not only did it illustrate exactly how the system worked, but it showcased the ease of our new LIET’s integration,” comments Nigel Savage, COO and founder of OceanLED. “Too many projects have been stumped by either poor integration of a control system, and/or bad lighting fixtures. With LIET designed specifically to be controlled either intelligently or simply, integrators have been falling over themselves to get samples.”
Globally, OceanLED has been working with companies that are able to successfully support the integration needs of its leading lighting technology. In the United States OceanLED has developed a solid relationship with PI Marine, an integration company based out of Maine, Massachusetts and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In Europe the company has recently aligned itself with Concept Clarity, an experienced architectural company that is bringing its expertise to the marine industry.
“With lighting design being our forte, control integration needs to be left to the experts,” continues Nigel. “Having reliable and technologically advanced relationships in place, allows us to deliver the best possible service to our clients.”
METS is set to be the perfect showcase for anyone wanting to see both the revolution LIET is bringing to the marine lighting sector and the very best of control integration with Crestron.
Nigel Savage and Chris Harris-Marsh, R&D Director for OceanLED are also due to present to the delegates at the Global SuperYacht Forum (GSF) on Wednesday 18 November at 3:15; a full exposé on LED lighting, it promises to provide valuable insight into the myths and truths behind OceanLED‘s cutting-edge technology.
As an extension to this exposé, OceanLED for the very first time in history will be exhibiting with their Integrating Sphere on their booth. An integrating sphere is designed to measure the total flux of LEDs, lamps and other light sources; the intention is to expose the truths behind real colour content, true lumen output, fixture efficiencies and lots more.
LIET has also been shortlisted for the 2009 annual Design Award for Marine Equipment (DAME) Award at this year’s METS.
OceanLED will be exhibiting at METS, Amsterdam, 17th, 18th, 19th November Booth # 03.312.
